There is a correlation between schools and property values, and often people are willing to spend a little more to be in the right school catchment area. They are even willing to sacrifice other important home features to be in the right school zone. Did you know that people will sacrifice things like square footage, backyard space, and more?
Private & Specialized Schools
Some buyers are looking for a home that falls in the catchment area of a specific private school, or a school with a specialized program for their children. Examples of private schools could include religious affiliations, or specialized curriculum based education. Some public schools can also have specialized programs such as High Performance Athletics.
