Having a vague property search can lead to frustration and wasted time. A good agent knows to ask lots of questions. Let’s discuss your next home purchase!

MLS: the best real estate search engines but be specific

DAVE: this is Dave Robertson and in this pro tip. We’re talking about getting real specific with your home search. So our team has worked with a lot of buyers. There are some buyers who have a pretty good idea: a general idea of what they want in a new home

And so we heart start a home search. When we get out into these homes you started covering well. Maybe they’re not so interested in this and we go from house to house to house never really landing on what we want.

It can become a frustrating experience for especially the buyer. They feel like there’s nothing out there. They’re feeling a little lost and they feel like their agent isn’t helping them to the best that they can.

Are there houses for sale near me?

Now so as an agent that can be frustrating too because I’m doing the best I can with the information you’ve given me. So let’s talk more! Let’s ask for questions! So a good agent knows how to ask the right questions to get real specific on what it is you’re looking for.

In my experience it goes way smoother right when you have a firm idea a clear idea of the home you’re looking for. We can start the search online. We can vet the properties online and send you the ones that will be of most interest to you.

Just a quick tie-in to realtor.ca or mls. Of course these tools are available to you on the public website but as a realtor we have additional filters that we can use to really zoom in on the type of home you’re looking for.

So if you’re shopping for a new home this year please give us a call.  Let’s have that consultation. Let’s ask the questions and find it is. Find out what it is you’re looking for and to ensure you get the right property.

This is especially important in this fast-moving seller’s market if you don’t know what you’re looking for. It’s almost impossible to find the right property or at least secure the property when you find it.

So let’s start the conversation. Coffee is on us. Looking forward to it and until our next time
